The RB’s in these rounds are going to be backups with the potential to steal carries from the starter or be used as a third down back in a rotation. In these rounds, the players I am targeting are Darrell Henderson RB, Devin Singletary RB, Darwin Thompson RB, Benny Snell RB, Gary Jennings (mid to late round 3), Ryquell Armstead RB, Alexander Maddison RB, and my sleeper pick is Diontae Johnson WR Steelers. This year, the first three rounds are the best chances to get an impact player. The second and third rounds are the place that there is the most movement in ADP. Brown, Marquise Brown and/or Paris Campbell. The other first rounders are usually A.J. Mecole Hardman has been drafted late in round one but is moving up in the first round and the last rookie draft saw him go at 1.05. The 2 QB and Superflex leagues you might also see Dwayne Haskins in the first round depending on team need. Noah Fant will probably also go in the first round of these types of leagues. Hockenson will probably be drafted at some point and definitely if your league that starts 2 TEs. The rest of the first round is a toss up but T.J. The next two picks could be N’Keal Harry or David Montgomery, and then Miles Sanders and D.K. The first overall pick in most of my drafts has been Josh Jacobs or if you play in a Superflex or 2 QB league it could be Kyler Murray. In the first round, things are usually the most solid. The ADP or average draft position of players is your blueprint of where rookies are being drafted. I will also give you a few suggestions of players I like later in drafts or players I am throwing that proverbial “dart throw” at. I will explain the ADP of the drafts I have completed and some strategies on where to get who you want or where to attack. There are some great players to help you reach that fantasy promise land but you need to know where to get them and identify those “diamond in the rough” late round gems and top dynasty rookie plays.
